Yesterday I woke up with a sore throat and feeling very weak so I thought it would be a good idea to eat some nutritious food throughout the day to give me some good vitamins to help me get better!

What’s a better way to start a healthy day than by having a well balanced breakie? The photos above feature my home made breakfast which was extremely simple to make. I put together natural unsweetened yogurt with my homemade granola (see December 2nd post for recipe) and mixed berries (frozen berries which I put in the microwave to warm up and create a sort of compote-like mixture). I also cut up half a banana and sprinkled almond flakes along with cinnamon at the end :) The fruits and sweetness of the granola meant that I didn’t even need to add honey or maple syrup.

Simple yet so so yummy!!
