About this blog

Originally, I began writing a blog to improve my creative writing skills. As a public communications student, I have learnt the hard way that a good writing technique is essential. I have found that I can communicate my ideas rather clearly by speaking, however, I really struggle when it comes to communicating my ideas in writing. In particular, my writing style has become rather bland because I do not often get the chance to perform creative writing tasks!

My aim is to learn to spice this up a little and write in a manner which grasps attention. I hope to achieve this by reading different blogs and experimenting with writing myself. My ultimate goal is to be able to use those newly acquired skills and apply them to my future career in a (hopefully) Public Relations role.

However, after a few months of blogging, I discovered that the reason for which I was posting shifted slightly. One of the beautiful things about blogs is that people share ideas by liking, sharing and/or commenting on posts. I have been very touched by some of the feedback I received regarding my blog. Such positive feedback strongly inspired me to target my posts towards young people around my age who are in the process of figuring out what they want to achieve in their future. I hope to inspire my readers to lead a well-balanced and healthy lifestyle by posting about food recipes, workout and outgoing activity ideas, travel tips, reviews of various trendy bars/restaurants that I may encounter and random thoughts which come through my head that I feel I should share with my readers.

I would like to note that I was heavily inspired by a beautiful young lady named Margaret Zhang. Margaret is an AMAZING blogger. I started following her about three years ago and I am amazed by how far she has come. She is now a key influencer in the fashion industry! I would strongly recommend following her for some amazing fashion and general lifestyle inspirations.
